Enteral Pumps

Enteral pumps are used when a tube feeding needs to be administered slowly over an extended period of time. Usually when the patient cannot tolerate gravity fed Bolusus administered via a 60cc syringe.

The EnteraLite® Infinity® is a rotary peristaltic enteral feeding pump designed to deliver programmed doses of enteral nutrition solutions at selectable rates. It is easy to use with a simple user interface and keypad Moog technology allows an accuracy rate of +/-.5% and the ability to safely operate in any orientation. The EnteraLite Infinity system includes a complete line of DEHP-free pump delivery sets with automatic free-flow protection. The EnteraLite Infinity is designed for both hospital and alternate care use. It is durable, water resistant, and easily carried in a Moog carry pack. Infinity’s size, weight, accuracy, and portability promote and support health improving physical activity.

Increased Accuracy. The Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump is +/-7% making enteral feeding even safer.
Small Size. The smallest Kangaroo™ enteral feeding pump ever. It is 30% smaller than the Kangaroo™ ePump enteral feeding pump. It is ready for ambulatory use- just place it in the backpack, program the pump and go.
Rubber overmold makes the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump more durable and shock resistant. The rubber overmold makes the operation of the pump quieter as well as splash resistant.
Easy to use power source allows the user to very easily plug and unplug the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump.
High IPX Rating. The Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump has a high waterproof rating making it even easier to clean between uses.
Ease of Use. The Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump "ATM style" interface guides the user through programming. It recognizes the type of pump-set that is loaded then asks the user questions appropriate only to that set. This makes it easy to program, use and in-service allowing more patient interaction.
Pump Set Based Program. Pump set based programming allows the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump to be used in any setting. MISTIC (Magnetic Intelligent Set Type Identification Connector) identified the pump-set type and then asks questions only about that set. If a customer upgrades to a flushing platform they only have to change their pump-set without the hassle or cost of upgrading or adding equipment.
Attitude Independent. Cloudy drip chambers, crowded I.V., poles, wheel chairs, vertical backpacks do not impede the flow of formula with the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump. It can truly be used anywhere on anyone! Attitude independence also makes Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump the ONLY ambulatory flush pump available.
72-Hour History. The 72-hour memory on the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump informs the user how much formula has been infused over any given period of time. This means patients will receive the nutrition they need to convalesce.
DEHP-Free Pump Sets. All Kangaroo™ Joey sets are 100% DEHP Free (and 100% phthalate free). This ensures that your customers always use the safest and most environmentally friendly pump sets.
Anti-Free Flow Pump Sets. All Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump Sets have an AFF (Anti Free Flow) device. Once again, this ensures the safest product for your patients. Covidien is the ONLY manufacturer that offers both DEHP Free and AFF in one pump set.
Multiple Languages. The Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump is programmed in 17 languages. It can be easily changed from one language to another which allows for easy and safe use by most clinicians.
Lock-Out Feature. Use the 2-3-2 (2nd button down for 4 drips and then back to the 2nd button down for 2 drips) to lock the settings on the pump. This feature locks the settings from being purposely or accidentally changed and can be unlocked by following the same steps.
Memory. The "Keep or Clear" settings on the Kangaroo™ Joey enteral feeding pump have the ability to remember the programmed data indefinitely. This allows a feeding that has been stopped to resume immediately.
KTO allows the pump to deliver very small amounts of fluid while not actively feeding. It delivers very little nutrition while keeping the feeding tube patent. This feature allows the patient to receive a medication and then not have to remember to turn the pump on later.
Bolus Max. The Bolus Max feature allows a dose of up to 1,000 mL to be delivered at a rate of 999 mL/hr. This allows for fast feeding, the fastest bolus feed on the market.
Continuous or Intermittent Feeding. The intermittent option feeds periodically throughout the day. Simply enter the bolus rate, the number of boluses to be delivered, the amount of the boluses and how often. No competitive pump offers such an easy intermittent feeding platform.

Intuitive Interface. Clearly designed and visible programming options allow for quick understanding of the programming features to help reduce the potential for programming errors
Dial Control. Permits quick and easy programming of feed rate and Volume to be Delivered (VTBD) to provide a smooth and easy transition from the Kangaroo™ 224 pump
Arrow Keys. Allow accurate and quick programmable functions of feed rate and VTBD while providing for a smooth transition from the Kangaroo™ 324 pump
DEHP-Free Pump Sets reduced exposure to DEHP
Operating Range in Individual (one mL) Increments allows for quick, easy and exact programming of feed rate (1 to 300 mL/hour) and VTBD (1 to 2000 mL)
Built in Pole Clamp. Reduces overall weight and makes the pump less bulky and easier to use when attached to IV poles
16 Hour Battery Life. Permits extended function and power ability (based on 125 mL/hour feed rate) . The battery will charge when the AC Adapter is plugged into an outlet. Total time to charge the 924 pump is approximately 8 hours. Battery life is determined based on 125mls per hour feed rate.
Quick Battery Recharge Rate. Battery charges in approximately 8 hours when the AC adapter is plugged into an active outlet
Memory. Maintains flow rate settings for up to 16 hours (battery operation) or 24 hours (AC connected). This allows for simplified use and minimizes potential for errors in provider programming. When powered on, the pump automatically reverts back to previous settings within this time range.
Audible and Visual Alarms. Six different function alarms include both audible and visual alarms. These alarms provide for additional safeguards and reinforced clinical confidence. The added visual alarm provides for a greater sense of patient safety, especially in Home Care markets.
LED Display. Provides for clear and easy programming ability and visibility in all lighting conditions
Clear Indicator Lights. Clear type and visual display provide for easy feeding pump operation without lengthy specialized training. Indicates for AC connectivity and Vol Clear.
Adjustable Alarm Volume. Provides for clinical and patient confidence and safety. This feature is easy to adjust in the Biotech menu screen.
Adjustable Languages. Available in 13 different language selections
No Removable Parts. The Power Cord and IV pole clamps are both integrated into the unit
Light Weight and Portable. Weighing only 3.75 lbs, the pump is convenient, light-weight, and easy to transport. The built-in pump handle also provides for greater flexibility and easy movement.
Accuracy. This pump is accurate to within +/-10% (or 0.5 mL, whichever is greater)
Universal Power Buttons .Provides for acceptance and flexibility in all markets.
Unique OPTIX Sensor. The innovative, patented OPTIX sensor utilizes optical sensors to confirm proper pump set placement. This unique feature provides for safeguards against improper placement and results in increased patient safety.
